Bothof Elected to Serve on ABA Community Banker's Council
John Bothof, President of Northwest Bank in Omaha has been elected to serve on the American Banker’s Associations’ Community Banker’s Council. The 100 member Community Banker’s Council is a critical part of the ABA’s commitment to being a champion for the nation’s community banks. The America’s Community Banker’s Council anticipates and responds to the competitive priorities of community bankers through government relations, membership, communications and product and service initiatives. Bothof’s responsibilities as a committee member will include strategizing to pinpoint critical community bank challenges and initiate proactive strategies to respond to customer needs. John will also represent the community bankers in their states and serve as a communication liaison between state banker and ABA staff.
With over 30 years of financial services experience, John has been involved in many community activities throughout his banking career including past President and active member of Millard Rotary, graduate of Leadership Omaha, member of the Superintendents Advisory Board for Millard Public Schools and many more.
