Northwest Bank's Financial Literacy Program - Spirit Lake

Steve Ratzlaff, Principal of Spirit Lake Community School District commented, “We are pleased to partner with Northwest Bank and this program is an excellent way to help our students learn to take online course work. Being able to learn online will be a significant skill our students will need in their future. This program also helps us to deliver instruction on the 21st Century financial literacy skills that are identified in the Iowa Core.”

“It’s simple, easy and fun. Also, it helps you to understand Personal Finance easier.” commented Philip, a Spirit Lake student who recently took the course. Sarah and Savannah said, “It was an entertaining way to learn.”

Dr. David Smith, Superintendent of Spirit Lake Community Schools District said, “These are the types of local partnerships that strengthen educational opportunities and prepare our students for the challenges of their future.”
