BackPack Program
During the month of November, we invite you to drop off nonperishable food items or monetary donations for the Okoboji & Spirit Lake BackPack programs. Help make a difference in the life of a child.
Fueled with a passion for youth, area organizations are gathering together for the BackPack program to supply groceries to youth at risk.The program will provide food weekly to area children. Because it will be delivered, it will also allow counselors time with families in need.
Northwest Bank is proud to be an official drop-site for grocery or monetary donations for the BackPack Program and will match up to $1,000.00 for each program in individual donations. Drop off your donation at Northwest Bank on Friday, November 16th and enjoy a slice of pie on us!
BackPack Food Items Include: Easy Mac - microwave macaroni and cheese, juice boxes, individual bottles of juice, cans of spaghetti and meatballs, pudding cups, chewy granola bars - peanut butter or chocolate chip, Quaker microwavable quick oats - with flavoring, peanut butter crackers packages, crackers and cheese packages, fruit snacks, Jiff peanut butter to go containers, jars of peanut butter, jars of jelly, cans of chicken and noodle soup, individual packs of Cheez it's, Goldfish, 100 calorie treats, individual cereal boxes, pretzels, mini muffins, Poptarts, Hormel Complete dinners and more.
