Northwest Bank has been awarded a 2020 Top Workplaces honor by the Des Moines Register. The Top Workplaces are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by Energage, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“In times of great change, it is more important than ever to maintain a connection among employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward based on real-time insights into what works best for your organization. The Top Workplaces program can be that positive outcome your company can rally around in the coming months to celebrate leadership and the importance of maintaining an employee-focused culture, even during challenging times.”

Joe Conover, President of Northwest Bank commented, “Receiving the Top Workplaces award for six consecutive years is a fantastic honor. I’m proud to share that our organization is filled with talented employees who are given the opportunity to grow and develop their skills, encouraged to share ideas for process improvement, continually provide first class service and go out of their way to support and improve the communities in which we serve and live in. Our management’s focus on attracting and retaining the best people to work for our company results in becoming an Employer of Choice. We ask ourselves; how can we add value to our employees and what do we do as a company that is unique? We look for people who are team-oriented, engaged and community focused, and who are interested in growing personally and professionally.”

Northwest Financial Corp. is a family owned organization led by Neal and Dwight Conover and includes two bank charters, Northwest Bank and First National Bank in Creston, and Northwest Wealth Management, LLC.  The organization employs 425 team members and focuses on the importance of supporting a good balance between work and personal life.
