How do I know if a merchant terminal accepts Chip Cards?
During the transition to Chip Cards, you can swipe your card as your normally would and follow the prompts. If the terminal is chip-enabled, it will prompt you to insert your card instead. If you already know your Chip Card works at a particular merchant, you may start your payment transaction by inserting your debit card.
