Check Your Home Router to Help Keep it Safe
If you have a high speed Internet connection, you very likely have some sort of router device (e.g. Linksys, Belkin, DLink, etc.) that is used to share that connection with your household. Many of these routers also include a wireless access point so your wifi devices can also connect directly to the router. Unfortunately, these routers become increasingly vulnerable over time – especially if they require manual firmware updates that aren't being applied to them.
